In the case of Lushroom, a pool shaft plays a central role. Air conditioning engineer Jürgen Müller failed to grow mushrooms in it. But he persevered, brought experts on board and developed the Lushroom together with them.
Jürgen and his team, all nutrition-conscious athletes, began to research mushrooms meticulously. What do they need? What climate? What temperatures? They scrutinized products that were already on the market. The result: a lot of effort, little yield. They wanted to change that. Gradually, with passion, a vision became a mission, and finally the Lushroom.

"Mastermind" and managing director
Jürgen has many years of experience in the field of building technology and building automation and has worked in project management for international corporations worldwide. His passion is urban agriculture and sustainability. He is fascinated by permacultures or aquaponic circulation systems and, above all, mushrooms. His vision is to produce natural, fresh food in his own home without transportation.
Patrick Schweiger
"Nutcracker" and managing director
Patrick knows his way around tricky projects. The passionate control engineer has already successfully completed many orders for his previous employers. He also demonstrated his problem-solving skills in the development of the Lushroom, from the first prototype to the series product. His vision: to make the world a little healthier and more sustainable.
Michael Hot
"Climate hero" and designer
As a trained refrigeration engineer, Michl knows every climate and can therefore adjust it precisely. He is passionate about constructing things and is only satisfied when the result is 100% perfect. His vision: to create the perfect climate in order to produce perfect food.
